Electrician (Wiremans License)

Requirements Qualified / Trade‑Tested 3 Phase Electrician with a valid Wireman’s Licence (Registered with the Department of Labour). Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and commissioning. Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry will be advantageous. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various sites. Sound knowledge of electrical safety regulations, SANS codes, and industry standards. Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and fault‑finding abilities. Excellent communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills. Bilingual (English and Afrikaans). Responsibilities Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in line with regulations and quality standards. Install, connect, and test electrical systems, including three‑phase equipment and distribution boards. Perform electrical commissioning to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. Perform site visits to assess project requirements and provide technical input. Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately. Maintain accurate job records, service reports and compliance documentation. Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems and related equipment. Ensure all work adheres to SANS codes, safety regulations and company procedures. Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure smooth operations on site. Provide professional technical input on energy‑efficient and renewable energy solutions. Additional Information Working Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility for after‑hours work when required. Travel: Regular travel to project and client sites may be required.
