In This Role You will receive, prepare, and accessveterinarysamples forlaboratory analysisand testing You will process clinical samples for chemistry, hematology, endocrinology and cytology using automated and manual methods You will perform variety of customer service activities for internal and external customers, providing information, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responding to customer phone and other communications, addresses questions/issues/problems/concerns, etc. You will have a workload which often includes samples from livestock and exotic species through regular zoo screening. From day one, you'll have full autonomy in your work, but you'll also get full support when you need it. What You Need to Succeed National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technologyor equivalent combination of education and experience required. SAVC registration (Registered Veterinary Technologist) is mandatory. Min 3 years’ professional experience in a similar position or veterinary practice desired You will have practical experience inUrinalysis, Chemistry, Hematology , Endocrinology and Cytology. You are very comfortable with performingautomated instrumentationor manual methods. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. Youare able toread, understand and followStandard Operating Procedures(SOP's), including safety andquality procedures. You have a positive attitude and love to bring this energy into the lab every day to support your colleagues, whether working independently or as a team contributor. Youare able toprioritizeandmulti-task, demonstrated excellentattention to detail on the job and can work reliably and precisely Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position. Adherence to attendance-related policies and expectations is critical to this position.
