About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in Mathematics and Science for primary school students, aligning with the national curriculum. Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including tests, projects, and class participation, providing timely feedback. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, ensuring inclusivity and support. Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and school administration to enhance the overall educational program. Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest teaching methodologies and educational research. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student academic performance and well-being. Organize and supervise educational excursions and extracurricular activities related to science and mathematics. Requirements A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education) with a specialization in Primary Education. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the primary school level, with a proven track record in teaching Mathematics and Science. Proficiency in curriculum development and assessment strategies for Foundation and Intermediate phases. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A passion for education and a genuine commitment to student success. Knowledge of technology integration in the classroom is advantageous. Residency or willingness to relocate to or commute to Soweto, Gauteng. Benefits
