About the Role
Our client, a prominent name in Cape Town's vibrant arts and entertainment sector, is looking for a visionary Lead Motion Graphics Artist . In this crucial role, you will conceptualize, design, and execute dynamic motion graphics for a variety of media, including film, television, advertising, and digital content. You will lead a team of talented artists, ensuring the highest standards of creativity and technical execution. Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for diverse projects.
- Lead and mentor a team of motion graphics artists, providing creative direction and technical guidance.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and clients to translate creative briefs into stunning visual narratives.
- Manage project timelines, workflows, and resource allocation for motion graphics tasks.
- Ensure all motion graphics work aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and techniques in animation and visual effects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Motion Graphics Artist, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional animation, design, and storytelling skills.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Premiere Pro.
- Experience with 3D animation, compositing, and visual effects is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
