Overview A prestigious luxury hospitality group is seeking an experienced and visionary BRAND MANAGER to join their Head Office team in Pretoria. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic professional to lead a brand transformation journey, elevating a well-established name in the African luxury travel space across PR, digital platforms, and global guest experiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and strengthening the group's brand presence, ensuring consistency, elegance, and emotional connection across all touchpoints. They are also willing to consider hybrid options with frequent travel to their lodges and head office. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, Business, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification or MBA in Luxury Brand or Hospitality Marketing (advantageous). 5+ years’ experience in brand management, ideally within luxury travel, hospitality, lifestyle, or high‑end consumer goods. Proven record in evolving or repositioning a luxury or premium brand. Hands‑on experience with PR, digital marketing, and creative brand campaigns. Experience working on website redevelopment or digital UX projects. Familiarity with high‑net‑worth or global luxury markets is highly valued. Excellent understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and customer journey mapping. Knowledge of PR tools and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush). Strong creative direction and content briefing skills. Deep understanding of luxury marketing — storytelling, exclusivity, and emotional engagement. Candidate Responsibilities Lead Brand Strategy: Evolve the brand’s positioning to align with the ultra‑luxury travel market while maintaining its core values and heritage. Website & Digital: Oversee website and digital asset redevelopment with a focus on elegance, immersion, and conversion. PR & Media: Drive impactful local and international PR campaigns and secure features in top‑tier luxury and lifestyle publications. Guest Experience: Ensure brand consistency across all guest touchpoints — from digital discovery to on‑site experience. Creative Direction: Oversee all brand visuals and storytelling across print, digital, and film media. Agency & Partner Management: Manage relationships with creative agencies, photographers, and content creators. Market Insight: Stay attuned to global luxury trends and translate insights into actionable brand initiatives. Package Competitive, experience‑based salary. Pension fund and medical cover.
