Section Engineer

Description Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join their mining company based in the Free State. You will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and compliance within your area ensuring safe efficient and reliable plant performance. Responsibilities Plan schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to optimise equipment uptime and performance. Monitor, inspect and troubleshoot plant and instrumentation systems providing technical guidance where required. Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and statutory regulations. Conduct risk assessments, task analyses and investigations into incidents implementing corrective actions. Support project execution including Capex planning, resource allocation and reporting. Maintain accurate records, prepare reports and communicate operational findings to teams and stakeholders.
