About our client: Our client runs an extensive network of printing plants, utilising cutting-edge technology for efficient and automated production. They offer comprehensive print capabilities for various materials, including magazines, catalogues, and books, handling all run requirements. Their continuous adoption of state-of-the-art technology ensures quick, high-quality printing in virtually any format, with cost-effective and time-efficient solutions achieved through multi-site or multi-press distribution. What you will be doing: Manage local and imported paper orders, including coordinating shipments. Process paper receipts and update financial systems daily. Handle weekly creditor reconciliations and payments for local and foreign suppliers. Communicate with internal and external parties to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations. Maintain daily updates of financial and inventory systems. Generate month-end and ad-hoc inventory reports using Excel. Electronically file and maintain records of transactions and reports. What our client is looking for: A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal, mainly in finance. 2-3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with imports, foreign exchange, and import documentation. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for analysis and problem-solving. Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, plan, and meet deadlines under pressure. Understanding of accounting practices and various accounting software.
