Job title: EC&I Draughtsman / Modeller
Location: Centurion, South Africa
Experience: 10+ yearsâ experience in draughting in the Electrical and Instrumentation field.

Job Description:

 General:
  • Prepare drawing deliverables, including transmittal notes.
  • Interpret technical equipment information and implement it accordingly on design drawings.
  • Maintain and improve drawing standards.
Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Deliverables.
  • Maintain document registers.
  • Compile P&IDs, single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams.
  •  Do general equipment arrangements.
  • Compile electrical layout drawings (small power, lighting, cableways, etc.) and schematic diagrams.
  • Specify equipment locations, equipment racking & routing diagrams.
  • Draught loop drawings and instrument hookup drawings.
Site Work:
  • Perform site measurements and inspections.
  • Verify drawings to site installation.

Skills Required:

Software utilisation:
  • Autocad, IronCad, DesSoft
  • Revit.
  • Inventor.
  • MS Office products.
Other skills:
  • Analytical ability and expertise in understanding complex issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and performance driven
  • Loyal and dedicated.
  • Assertive.
