Metals Manager Description Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an experienced Metals Manager to join their team based in Gauteng. As a Metals Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations related to the production, processing, and quality control of metals within the company. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize all processes related to the production and processing of metals. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Manage and allocate resources to meet production targets and customer demands. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination between production, maintenance, and logistics departments. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Train and develop staff to ensure adherence to procedures and performance targets. Requirements: Grade 12. Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. 8 years experience in a Metallurgical environment within the mining industry. 2 years experience in a Managerial role. Experience in pyro-metallurgical and precious metals processes. Extensive knowledge of SAP and development of metal accounting processes.
