Job PurposeVector Logistics is seeking a dynamic and experiencedData andAnalytics Managerto lead our Finance Shared Services Data &Analytics function. This is a strategic role within our Business Intelligenceteam, aimed at driving our vision of becoming anInsights DrivenOrganization (IDO). You’ll be responsible for designing and executing arobust data strategy, delivering automated and standardized analytics solutionsthat empower smarter, data-driven decision-making across the business. Thisrole offers the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies andcollaborate across internal and external teams to transform raw data intoactionable insights that fuel growth. Key Responsibilities Insights Driven Organization Collaborate with the ITExecutive to develop and implement a data strategy aligned with VectorLogistics’ IDO vision. Solve complex datachallenges, including establishing a single source of truth, managing master/reference data, and defining organizational data processes. Design and evolve afit-for-purpose data & analytics technology stack that supports key businessinitiatives and adapts to industry innovations. Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence Lead, mentor,and support the Business Intelligence team. Provideconsistency in reporting through report standardization and data sourceautomation. Developintuitive reports and dashboards that enable self-service data access anddrive performance insights. Partner withbusiness users, analysts, data scientists, and tech teams to maintain andenhance analytics solutions across platforms and data sources. Ensurecontinuous improvement, accuracy, and adoption of analytics tools throughcollaboration and feedback. Data Governance, Security & Management Champion datagovernance and guide executives on best practices. Ensurecompliance with information security policies, data governance standards,and PoPIA regulations. Operational Management Deliver projects in line with established methodologies and control frameworks. Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and project budgets within departmental constraints. Ensure timely and effective business support throughSLA adherence. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics/Statistics. Post graduate qualification is advantageous.5+ years in Analytics or Business Intelligence (Finance experience is a plus). Skills and CompetenciesExpert in Data Management Frameworks and SQL. Strong understanding of OLAP, ETL processes, and database management systems. Advanced proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel). Skilled in handling large datasets and data visualization across industries. Experience with Azure and working with developers. Knowledge of data warehouse design, data engineering, and data mining. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps). Proven leadership and team development capabilities. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
