Medipost Pharmacy is looking for a professional, self-driven individual to join the M02 department in Order Processing. The successful candidate will be based in Gezina (Pretoria). Primary Purpose of the Job Providing proper patient care in accordance with GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulations. Attending training on pharmacy acts and GPP. Ensuring compliance with the POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act). Accurately capturing prescriptions, both acute and/or chronic, as per SOP. Handling clinical discussions (under pharmacist supervision) and inquiries with patients, healthcare professionals, or other SPNs. Resolving rejections and prioritizing adding scripts to WIP. Managing cluster and personal action diaries. Complying with SLA requirements, including completing mailbox profiles, rejections, and action diaries within required timelines. Responding professionally to emails or inquiries from management, other SPNs, or patients. Managing OUT OF WIP notifications. Addressing rejected prescriptions and templates from Blind checking as a priority to ensure SLA compliance. Attending SOP training, refresher courses, product training, and other relevant training. Complying with company policies, procedures, and SOPs. Managing stock, understanding cold chain maintenance, expiry dates, and stock return procedures. Handling INV and other cluster action diaries. Assisting with email inquiries related to stock issues, financial matters, claims, or other concerns. Making first call attempts to patients before forwarding profiles to the ADMIN mailbox for follow-up. Operational and Quality Performance Completing daily allocated work according to level requirements. Attending to action diaries. Maintaining SLA compliance. Adhering to MML standards. Demonstrating competency in SOP assessments. Qualifications and Experience Grade 12, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a pharmacist assistant. Need to be registered with SAPC. Training Required Training on company systems (e.g., Medipost APP, online authorization system, ESS, etc.) and Medipost bridging course for internal appointment from another department. Core Competencies Verbal and written communication, listening, patience, empathy, conflict resolution, customer service, accuracy, data capturing, interpersonal skills, relationship building, ability to work under pressure, adaptability, time management, and attention to detail. Sound knowledge of GPP and pharmacy acts is essential. Specific Requirements Understanding of the implications of errors in a pharmacy or healthcare environment. Service failure interventions will be applicable if service failures are maintained at an average of 0 to 0.75 per month, or a maximum of 3 over a 4-month period.
