Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Python and extensive expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering. This role requires someone who can quickly adapt and make meaningful contributions by focusing on model prompting, data exploration, and optimization, rather than traditional predictive modeling. As a senior member of the team, you’ll be expected to lead key initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide the development of innovative solutions. As a senior member of the team, you’ll be expected to lead key initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide the development of innovative solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesModel Development: Lead the design and development of NLP and other models to enhance LLM capabilities.Data Analysis: Drive data exploration and analysis to uncover actionable insights that inform model development and performance improvements.Feature Engineering: Identify, create, and optimize features that enhance model accuracy and performance.Model Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive testing, validation, and performance evaluation of models to ensure high reliability and effectiveness.LLM Development: Collaborate closely with team members to build, refine, and optimize the LLM to meet evolving project requirements.Leadership & Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with data engineers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate models into applications and systems.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and other team members, helping to develop best practices and ensure technical excellence.RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience:Strong proficiency in Python and key data science libraries .Extensive experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model optimization.Expertise in data exploration and feature engineering for model improvement.Proven track record of model evaluation, performance optimization, and validation.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute effectively in a senior role.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement innovative solutions.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills (Not Essential)Experience with graph-based processing and graph algorithms.Familiarity with advanced NLP techniques and language model fine-tuning.Education & ExperienceMaster's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.At least 5 years of experience in a Data Scientist role, with a proven ability to work at a senior level and contribute to complex projects.check(event) ; career-website-detail-template-2 => apply(record.id,meta)" mousedown="lyte-button => check(event)" final-style="background-color:#187B9E;border-color:#187B9E;color:white;" final-class="lyte-button lyteBackgroundColorBtn lyteSuccess" lyte-rendered=""> Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Blue Pearl by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Senior Data Scientist” roles.
