Data Privacy Specialist – Information Technology (IT) Join to apply for the Data Privacy Specialist – Information Technology (IT) role at NTT DATA, Inc. Key Roles and Responsibilities Implement NTT DATA Inc.'s Data Privacy policies, processes, and standards within the IT function. Support the IT function in documenting records of processing, data flows, and cross‑border transfers. Project‑manage Data Privacy requirements of new initiatives, transformation projects, and business‑as‑usual initiatives globally. Ensure completion of Data Protection Impact Assessments and other privacy assessments for new processing activities. Document and assess Data Privacy risks in the IT function and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on the implementation and effectiveness of Data Privacy controls across the IT function. Coordinate and support the response to data subject requests in accordance with applicable laws and NTT DATA’s policies. Investigate, respond to, resolve, notify, and close personal data breaches and other incidents in accordance with applicable laws and NTT DATA’s policies. Support vendor engagement by ensuring Data Privacy assessments, processing agreements, and controls are in place. Develop a Data Privacy playbook specific to IT practices to guide requirements and controls. Provide Data Privacy training and awareness specific to IT practices. Monitor global data protection developments and implement compliance mechanisms. Qualifications Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and high attention to detail. Strong analytical skills and risk‑based approach to Data Privacy. Excellent leadership, creativity, presentation, writing, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive under pressure, deliver effectively in a fast‑paced environment, and work independently. Proactive, self‑starter with strong planning, organizing, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience managing complex projects and cross‑functional teams. Deep knowledge of global data protection laws and regulations. Academic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; Data Privacy certifications (CIPT, CIPP, CIPM) preferred. Experience implementing Data Privacy programs and controls in multi‑national IT functions. Experience advising on complex privacy matters with practical advice. Experience in risk management activities and compliance projects. Experience with OneTrust, 6Click (preferred).
