Introduction Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. The purpose of this role is to coordinate the day-to‑day operations of maintenance activities contractor management support the Maintenance Planning Manager with asset management activities assisting with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and managing assets to ensure operational efficiency. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities : CMMS Management Utilize CMMS (e.g. Onkey SAP) to manage and track maintenance work orders preventive maintenance schedules and asset histories. Ensure accurate data entry and updates in CMMS including equipment details maintenance activities and asset records. Monitor and track the status of open work orders and escalated concerns to ensure completion on schedule. Assist in generating reports from CMMS to analyze maintenance performance identify trends and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Maintenance Coordination Coordinate day‑to‑day maintenance activities by reviewing, prioritizing and assisting with assigning work orders to technicians ensuring the timely completion of maintenance tasks. Ensure maintenance schedules align with production and facility requirements minimizing equipment downtime. Act as the mediator between maintenance department and operations. Contractor management for all maintenance related activities. Scheduling and coordinating emergency repairs and unplanned maintenance activities to avoid production disruptions. Track and report maintenance progress, work order completion and technician performance. Asset Management Support Collaborate with the Maintenance Planning Manager to support asset management efforts including asset lifecycle management, inventory control and asset tracking. Help monitor and update asset records within CMMS ensuring accurate documentation of equipment histories, service records and asset conditions. Assist with managing spare parts and materials inventory to ensure critical components are readily available when needed for maintenance activities. Support the development and implementation of asset performance monitoring and condition‑based maintenance strategies. Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Planning Support Support the Maintenance Planning Manager with the development, scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance (PM) tasks. Ensure PM activities are completed on time and logged accurately in the CMMS. Identify and highlight Bad Actors in asset performance data. Reporting & Documentation Generate regular reports on work order status, maintenance costs, asset performance and inventory usage from CMMS. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment including repairs, inspections and replacements. Support in the analysis of maintenance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Team Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with maintenance technicians, production teams and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient maintenance operations. Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts and services. Regular communication between Maintenance Department, Operations and Planning Office. Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements Relevant Technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner or in a role of a similar nature. Experience in CMMS usage would be advantageous. Knowledge of asset management principles including asset lifecycle management, inventory control and preventive maintenance.
