Fire Protection Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Fire Protection Supervisor to join their East London-based team.

Successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations, as well as leading a team of technicians and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:-

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and suppression systems
• Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards and local building codes
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different job sites as required

Duties:-

• Supervise and coordinate the work of fire protection technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standards
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide technical guidance to team members
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and equipment required for projects
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Train and develop team members to improve their knowledge and skills in fire protection systems
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
• Prepare and submit project progress reports to management
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire protection technology and standards
