The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of the software products. This role involves designing and executing manual and automated test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver robust software solutions. Key Responsibilities Test Planning and Design: Translate functional and business requirements into comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts; develop and maintain detailed test documentation to ensure traceability and repeatability. Testing Execution: Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, performance); validate software against requirements, ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry standards. Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray); work closely with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and ensure resolution. Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and maintain quality throughout the SDLC; participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives). Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and best practices; assist in implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium). Reporting: Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting quality status and risks; ensure compliance with quality standards and project‑specific requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or equivalent) preferred. Familiarity with ISO standards or other quality management systems is a plus. 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a QA/QC role. Hands‑on experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Postman, Appium, Playwright). Familiarity with warehouse management systems or supply chain software is advantageous. Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment. Proficiency in test case development, defect tracking, and reporting using tools like Jira, Xray, or similar. Working knowledge of SQL for backend testing and data validation. Basic programming knowledge (e.g., C#, Java, Python) for test automation is a plus. Experience with API testing (using Postman) and mobile/web testing. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Proactive attitude with passion for continuous improvement and quality assurance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
