Automation Specialist Are you passionate about optimizing industrial equipment and ensuring operational excellence? Our client is seeking a dedicated Automation Specialist to join their team in Nelspruit. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical and electrical systems. Carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Follow maintenance schedules rigorously to ensure top equipment performance. Maintain compliance with safety standards in all maintenance activities. Assist with installation and setup of new machinery. Collaborate with team members to boost operational efficiencies. Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs. Requirements Matric (High School Diploma) or equivalent. Relevant Trade Certificate as a Millwright or Electrician. Minimum 2 years’ hands-on maintenance experience (industrial setting preferred). Refrigeration experience is advantageous. Packhouse experience will be a definite plus. Proven ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
