To fulfil this role the Test Automation Engineer applies appropriate automation technologies and frameworks to meet the short- and long-term goals of the testing team. You will work closely with the Test Automation Lead / Head of Test Automation / Head of QA to define THE strategy and process bringing automation in line with existing functional aspect of the test effort. You will be responsible for creation execution and maintenance of automated scripts. In addition the position is responsible for creating metrics and increasing test coverage using the automated systems. Key Responsibilities Bachelors or masters degrees in engineering or science related fields. Areas of study may include Network Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Statistics Management Information Systems and Quality Assurance. 5 years experience in test automation. Programming system administration or database administration experience is a plus. UFT / QTP certification ISTQB qualification for Automation Selenium with any of the languages (Java Ruby Javascript C# PHP Python) Protractor Cucumber / SpecFlow (desirable) Appium Calabash Robot Framework SoapUI / Postman Use Git for source code management and control on a Git repo such as Github Bit Bucket TFS (DevOps Azure) HTML & CSS XML & JSON CI Jenkins Bamboo Team City General Skills Demonstrates accuracy thoroughness and attention to detail at all times.
