VAT Auditor / Senior Auditor East London Location: East London Eastern Cape Position Overview: Join a dynamic consulting group and become part of their winning team where everyone is rewarded for achieving goals and objectives. The team is expanding and seeking the expertise of a dynamic career auditor to join them at their East London office. Duties & Responsibilities Conduct a full VAT audit of the client to identify any VAT that is claimable that the client did not claim during the financial period, including the submission of monthly VAT201 reviews and liaising with SARS on any assessments and or objections for the period. Desired Experience & Qualification Sound understanding and experience in VAT201 / VAT201 reviews and liaising with SARS. Understanding of apportionment ratios and the application thereof. Conducting VAT Audits. Own vehicle and valid drivers licence a must as this job includes travelling. Microsoft Excel. Completed SAIPA articles preferred. Accounting qualification / SAIPA advantage. Note: Benefits are only available post the 3-month probation period.
