Overview Sage Intacct Designer – Part‑Time, Contract, Freelance, Remote Lescault Walderman, Inc. (LWI) seeks an experienced Sage Intacct Designer to design and implement customized solutions with the Sage Intacct financial management software. About LWI LWI was founded to provide outsourced accounting services to clients remotely across a wide range of industries. We have staffed remote positions for over 10 years and have built an infrastructure that supports this work‑from‑home model. Our culture prioritizes both staff and clients, and we believe in a healthy work‑life balance. You will work normal business hours with flexibility. We are not a firm that pushes staff to work excessive hours. Our growth has been steady: we have doubled in size through organic growth and two acquisitions, and now serve clients globally. We are looking for opportunistic hires who are ready for a challenge and eager to grow with the company. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes. Design and configure Sage Intacct modules to meet specific business needs. Customize reports, dashboards and workflows with the software. Develop and implement integrations with other systems. Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and functionality of the designed solutions. Provide training and support to end users on how to effectively use the customized Sage Intacct features. Stay updated with the latest features and enhancements of Sage Intacct and recommend improvements or optimizations to existing designs. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, such as accounting, IT and operations, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of the Sage Intacct system with other business processes. Requirements Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or IT. Relevant certifications such as Sage Intacct Certifications or other accounting certifications are advantageous. Previous experience working with Sage Intacct or other financial management software is required. Proficiency in working with Sage Intacct, including a deep understanding of its modules, customization options, reporting and integration capabilities. Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages and data integration tools is a plus. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial management processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, financial reporting and budgeting. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to identify potential issues, troubleshoot problems and propose effective solutions. Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non‑technical users. Team player who can collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
