Resident Engineer – Roads

We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer with 10 years of experience in roads projects, specifically SANRAL projects. The ideal candidate should hold professional registration as a PrEng or PrTech and will be responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of road infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: · Manage all aspects of road construction and rehabilitation projects. · Ensure compliance with SANRAL specifications and project guidelines. · Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timeline adherence. · Conduct site inspections and quality control checks. · Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. · Liaise with project stakeholders, including SANRAL representatives, local authorities, and contractors. · Prepare progress reports and manage project documentation. · Implement safety and environmental protocols on-site. Qualifications and Experience: · Minimum of 10 years of experience in road construction and SANRAL projects. · Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. · Professional registration as PrEng or PrTech is required. · Strong leadership and project management skills. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. · In-depth knowledge of SANRAL regulations and road engineering standards.
