Responsibilities Ensure that housekeeping is done on a daily basis. Handle all work in process in the trailer repair workshop. Provide excellent pre- and post-sale service. Ensure work is completed daily and within the quoted hours and delivery date, as per quotation and agreement with the client. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Evaluate damaged trailers. Build strong and sound customer relationships. Liaise with clients and estimators daily to ensure proper planning. Perform quality control on work throughout the repair process. Inspect materials daily in liaison with stores to ensure proper material planning. Maintain discipline on the floor and ensure targets are reached. Evaluate the skill levels of the production team. Provide additional training to the team where needed. Manage labor hours daily, including overtime. Perform ad-hoc tasks as required. Requirements Matric qualification. Well acquainted with health and safety regulations and ensure they are practiced accordingly. Minimum of 5 years of experience in trailer manufacturing and repairs. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role. Trade qualification (Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter) is an advantage. Own transport. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Extensive knowledge of trailers and trailer parts. Experience in business development, finding new clients, and maintaining client relations. Ability to perform well under pressure.
