Overview Graphic Designer – Join Our In-House Marketing Team Location: Claremont, Cape Town Faircape Group is a diverse organisation spanning Healthcare, Retirement Living, Telecommunications (Faircom), Utility Management (Inpower), and Property Management — all supported by one passionate, forward-thinking internal Marketing Team. You’ll be part of our in-house creative team, shaping how Faircape looks, feels, and communicates across multiple brands. You’ll work across multiple industries, from healthcare and hospitality to technology and property, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Responsibilities Supporting senior designers in various projects, including creating layouts, editing images, or preparing design files for production Responsible for creative concept, design and rollout of marketing collateral across the group Maintain design brand consistency according to brand guidelines across all deliverables for the Faircape Group Creating designs for use on various brand websites and social media platforms under the Faircape Group Provide creative concepts and outputs Collaborate with Marketing and Brand Managers to ensure creative output aligns with business objectives Keep up to date on design and advertising trends across different business/service offerings Share inspiring work with the Marketing team Communicate effectively across parts of the group, accepting feedback and changes as part of the process Use the digital filing system effectively and adhere to guidelines Communicate with suppliers to acquire quotes and sign off on soft proofs Source images from Shutterstock and Envato Elements Work as part of a close-knit marketing team to support the greater good of the company Qualifications A relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative field from a recognised institution Experience And Knowledge Proven experience as a professional graphic designer – previous experience in an advertising, design agency or corporate environment is preferable Design and DTP print collateral for in-house printing Ability to take a concept/brief from design through to print Strong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Basic understanding of User Interface Design Experience with a CRM platform (such as ZOHO, Mailchimp, Hubspot) is preferable but not essential Basic understanding of the Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets) Experience with After Effects/Premiere Pro is a plus, but not essential Skills & Attributes Deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Confident in taking work from concept through to final execution with accuracy and creative flair Strong problem-solving ability — able to translate ideas and objectives into effective visual communication Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in layout, typography, and overall design quality A true team player who collaborates openly and supports collective creative success Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal Receptive to constructive feedback and able to give clear direction when collaborating with others Specific Requirements Solid and positive written references Your portfolio needs to be submitted with your application Clear health record Clear credit record No criminal record Benefits Above-market salaries to ensure we pay for excellence Central offices in Claremont Quarterly performance bonuses to recognise your impact Long-service leave – rewarding loyalty and commitment Onsite Barista – free, professionally made coffee all day Subsidised vending snacks for those creative crunch times Discounted Faircom internet packages Fix Flexi-time option between 06h30 and 18h30 Subsidised parking at our modern Claremont office near Cavendish Employment Type Full-time Seniority level Mid-Senior level Faircape offers above market-related salary. Salary will be dependent on experience, knowledge, qualifications, attributes and skills. Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45-minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi-time between 06h30 and 18h30.
