Powder Coating Supervisor

Location: New Germany, KZN Job Overview The incumbent is responsible for the performance and supervision of the powder coating department by planning, organising, controlling, leading and co‑ordinating the Powder Coating activities of the organisation. Must ensure that production quotas are met on schedule. Requirements Matric Engineering studies / relevant supervisory qualification 3‑5 years of experience in the steel fabrication / metal production industry Must have powder coating experience Technically able to conduct investigations Able to service & maintain equipment Must have the ability to learn and perform functions on Fabritrak Must have a valid driver’s license Responsibilities Provide supervision for production in the powder coating department Planning & scheduling work Ensure efficient use of powder Ensure efficient use of the ovens Provide production quantity and quality control in the powder coating section Monitor the financial performances of the production department to ensure company goals are met Maintain and control the use of machinery in the powder coating section Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required Ensure implementation and evolution of company policies and procedures Comply with all regulatory safety policies and standards and ensure that PPE is worn at all times Adhere to late coming and absenteeism policies Good housekeeping 5S #J-18808-Ljbffr
