Data Migration Consultant: CMS WeconnectU Somerset West, Western Cape, South Africa We're looking for a detail-driven, solutions-focused Data Migration Consultant to support our clients through seamless transitions into WeconnectU's Community Management System (CMS). This role is based at our Somerset West office (in-office). Purpose of the Role The Individual is responsible for accurately capturing, updating, and maintaining information across various systems. The role ensures data integrity when migrating from one solution to WeconnectU and supports operational processes. Key Responsibilities Accurately capture and update data into relevant systems, spreadsheets, or databases Verify the accuracy of information before and after entry Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data Maintain organised filing systems (digital or physical) Ensure confidential information is handled securely Communicate with internal teams and the client to obtain missing or unclear information Assist with data-related queries Meet daily, weekly, and monthly capture targets and deadlines Support other administrative functions when required Requirements Soft Skills Excellent attention to detail Strong concentration and focus Good time management Patience and consistency with repetitive tasks Strong communication skills Problem-solving abilities Adaptability to new systems and processes High level of confidentiality and discretion Teamwork and willingness to assist others Ability to work calmly under pressure Technical Skills Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting, filtering, basic formulas) Familiarity with data capturing systems, CRMs, or databases Good general computer literacy Ability to learn new software quickly Financial knowledge would be of great advantage Qualifications & Experience Grade 12 (matric) or equivalent (with accounting as a subject) Previous experience in data capturing and finance (advantageous) Experience working with spreadsheets, CRM systems, or databases Key Attributes Reliable and consistent work ethic High accuracy with low error rates Professional, organised, and methodical Strong sense of responsibility and accountability Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at WeconnectU by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
