Business Intelligence Analyst II – Pipeline Join the Capitec team as a Business Intelligence Analyst II, where you will empower senior decision‑makers with actionable insights, drive performance, and enhance operational effectiveness across the business. Purpose Statement The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a pivotal role in building value for the product line by solving client and business challenges through data. By leveraging advanced analytical skills and experience, the BIA delivers actionable insights that enable faster, better‑informed decisions. Education (Minimum) A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Statistics Knowledge and Experience At least 3–5 years’ experience as Business Intelligence Analyst or equivalent, including data analytics, BI methods and tools, data warehousing, and the data life cycle. Experience identifying, quantifying, and delivering business value using data. Experience with stakeholder engagement. Experience working with data on cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. Experience building data visualisations using tools such as Power BI. Experience using SQL to prepare and analyse data. Knowledge Knowledge and basic experience using low/no code AutoML modelling tools such as Power BI or AWS SageMaker. Design thinking. Dimensional modelling. The Data Product Life Cycle (DPLC). Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and best practices. Knowledge of data quality and incident management. Knowledge and experience of agile project management methodology. Ideal Previous experience in business analysis within the banking sector. Knowledge of change management principles and practices. Additional Information Clear criminal and credit record.
