Night Auditor (Monthly Paid) You will provide overall revenue control for the Hotel by carrying out daily audits to ensure that all daily revenue has been accounted for. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for answering phones, attending to face-to-face guest queries and taking reservations. You will maintain records, create, and keep a filing system, as it serves as the central point for information / assistance for guests who visit and stay at the Hotel. You will help guests check out and accept final payment for their room accounts, making sure that guests have had a pleasant stay and accompany guests to the porte-cochère to bid them farewell. Aside from the above, you will check and ensure all room charges are correct and audit all daily revenue reports to ensure all income is accounted for in accordance with company guidelines. Auditing, reconciling, and balancing daily financial activities as well as assisting with reservations enquiries when required, will form part of your duties. You will prepare and distribute revenue reports to stakeholders, balance all totals for cash and credit cards, and run end-of-day reports. Performing duties of front desk operations and handling of emergency procedures will form part of your responsibilities. Along with your Hospitality Qualification or equivalent, you have proven experience as a Night Auditor or similar with 3-5 years' experience in front office or a similar position. Knowledge of financial controls, operational expertise, proficiency in MS Office, an aptitude for numbers and systems, and the ability to capture, interpret, and interrogate data are vital to this role. You'll bring your expertise in understanding systems and spotting risks to a dynamic role where your excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, will shine. Your reliability, adaptability, and strong planning and organising abilities will keep you focused and results-oriented, even under pressure. With your accuracy, attention to detail, and unwavering integrity, you’ll play a crucial part in achieving outstanding outcomes while maintaining a calm and composed approach in high-pressure situations.
