Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Project Manager in the Fintech sector, based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility of some remote work. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project execution, manage timelines, and ensure quality delivery, while working closely with stakeholders to align goals and expectations. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, facilitating communication across teams, and addressing potential challenges to deliver innovative fintech solutions. The role requires meticulous planning, operational efficiency, and leadership to manage complex projects effectively. Qualifications Proven expertise in Project Management, with experience in planning, execution, and delivery of complex software or fintech projects. Strong capabilities in Expediting and Expeditor functions, ensuring timely progress of project deliverables and resolving delays proactively. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage diverse teams and deliver client-focused solutions. Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP and another Agile certification) is an advantage. Experience in the fintech industry and familiarity with agile methodologies is essential.
