Overview Performance Brands is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Junior Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team. This entry-level position offers a strong foundation in brand marketing, social media, digital content, and campaign support. You will assist in the execution of seasonal marketing campaigns, manage day-to-day digital activity, and play a hands‑on role in content updates and community activations. Website: | Instagram: @FIRSTASCENTSA Key Responsibilities Conduct research on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity. Assist the Brand Manager in planning, administering, and rolling out seasonal campaigns. Coordinate, implement, and track multi‑channel marketing campaigns. Manage day‑to‑day social media posting and engagement. Help create engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials. Track performance analytics and support monthly reporting. Maintain campaign timelines, files, reports, and assist in internal coordination. Assist in planning and executing marketing events, activations, expos, and athlete meetups. Provide admin support for ambassador and influencer management. Assist with ambassador queries and kit allocation. Manage event logistics and provide on‑site support during events. Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM systems. Support segmentation and campaign targeting using customer data. Support the creation and distribution of email campaigns, including content development and performance tracking. Update product pages, banners, and promotional content on the website. Ensure content accuracy (e.g., pricing, specs, images) in line with current ranges. Liaise with the product, marketing, and digital teams to plan updates and troubleshoot issues. Qualifications & Skills Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communication, or Digital Media. 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role or internship (preferred but not essential). Proficiency in MS Office, Canva / Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, and / or Shopify / Magento (bonus). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, with attention to detail and ability to multitask. A passion for outdoor lifestyle, sports, and adventure is essential. Benefits Competitive remuneration. Pension Fund contribution.
