Founded in 2018, we deliver engineering solutions across steel structures, piping, mechanical fitting, ship repair, corrosion protection and non‑destructive testing (NDT). We are a Broad‑Based Black Economic Empowerment joint venture committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement. Job Purpose To perform and monitor quality activities in accordance with company, regulatory, and client standards to achieve consistent compliance and continuous improvement. Job Summary The Quality Control Inspector oversees and supports all project‑based quality assurance and control activities. Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, managing third‑party services, preparing and maintaining critical quality documentation (PQRs, WPSs, WQRs), providing technical guidance, monitoring equipment calibration, reporting deviations, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. The role collaborates with Project Managers and stakeholders to deliver compliant projects. Knowledge & Competencies Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Understanding of fabrication specifications such as AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME B31.3. Familiarity with NDE/NDT methods and reports (MT, PT, RT, UT). Knowledge of fabrication processes: welding, cutting, forming, rolling. Knowledge of oil and gas industry processes, including riser and capital drilling equipment. Qualifications Matric (Grade 12). Welding Inspector Level II or CSWIP 3.1 certification. Experience NDT qualifications advantageous. Mandatory Oil & Gas / Refinery experience. Minimum 5 years as a QC Inspector. Minimum 3 years in an engineering fabrication environment. Valid driver’s license. General Requirements Proficiency in MS Office applications. Ability to communicate effectively in English and Afrikaans. Salary Market related – based on experience.
