(MATERNITY COVER - 5 MONTH CONTRACT): TMS TECHNICIAN Rewire TMS Clinic has a vacancy for a TMS Technician on a 5‑month maternity cover contract at our Cat’s Corner clinic situated in Roodepoort (JHB). The successful applicant will report to Dr. Marcelle Stastny and Mr. Aslam Barends, Practice Manager. POSITION SUMMARY: The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician is responsible for providing patient care under the direct supervision of a psychiatrist. The technician operates TMS machines to deliver FDA‑approved treatments to patients with major depressive disorders and obsessive‑compulsive disorders. Roles & Responsibilities: Administer TMS FDA‑approved treatments Adhere to Rewire TMS Clinic work practices, policies, and procedures, including all protocols Perform clerical duties to improve clinic workflow (e.g., complete patient visit records, check in patients, schedule appointments) Personal Relationships: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and colleagues Demonstrate adaptability and strong interpersonal skills Show commitment to diversity and inclusion Internal Contacts: Within Department Management Safety & Infection Control Marketing Business Office External Contacts: Patients, families, visitors, and occasional others Work across multiple spaces (on‑site and off‑site) Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12/Matric Certificate At least one year of experience in a health‑care related field (medical or mental‑health experience a plus) Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Calm and professional under stressful situations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Fluent in English Live within 15‑20 km of the clinic (Roodepoort) Valid driver’s license and reliable transport a plus Conditions of Employment: TMS training will be provided First aid training course will be provided Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year experience specific to the medical field Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Technical and analytical proficiency Medical terminology knowledge and skills Ability to cope with fast‑paced environments and job stressors Maintain quality control standards and confidentiality Adhere to policies and procedures (safety, attendance, punctuality, appearance) Communicate effectively at all levels (doctors, management, staff) Demonstrate Rewire TMS Clinic’s values Salary Benefits for Personal Development: R15,000 (net salary offered) In‑depth TMS introduction training Introduction to an FDA‑approved, efficacy‑based treatment option for patients with mental health challenges TMS completion certificate after five‑month employment contract guaranteed Rewire TMS Clinic reference letter All interested candidates who meet the above requirements must submit a detailed CV to e‑mail on or before 15th of December 2025 .
