Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for executing customer orders efficiently by overseeing all stages of production, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and health & safety regulations, and maintaining seamless operations across the toolroom and production floor. This role involves leading a team of 20+ employees across production, stores, and delivery while working closely with executive management, administration, sales, and accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete production process, including toolroom, foundry, fettling, and finishing.
- Ensure efficient management of stores and delivery operations.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and health & safety regulations.
- Lead and manage machine maintenance activities.
- Supervise and support employees, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Act as the primary liaison between production and executive management, sales, administration, and accounts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management.
- Must have experience in manufacturing production management, stock control, production planning, maintenance planning, staff management, ISO & health and safety
- Tertiary or technical qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other relevant software.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of effective team collaboration
