About the Role We're hiring a full-time Lead APC Engineer to join our Pretoria-based team. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned engineer with 7–10 years of experience, including 3–5 years in APC. You'll lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cutting-edge control solutions across mining and process environments. Your daily focus will include: Designing and implementing APC strategies (MPC, fuzzy logic, inferential control, constraint handling) Conducting feasibility studies and business case assessments Developing process models and tuning controllers Troubleshooting and optimizing deployed APC systems Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and sustained performance What You Bring Proven experience in APC, process monitoring, and control loop performance Strong coding and analytics skills (Python, SQL, Power BI, Matlab / R) Expertise in process modeling, system identification, and optimization Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Process, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering Mining or heavy industry experience is a strong advantage Why Harvinno?
