Your Role at impact.com: As the Global Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing a global payables portfolio, with a key focus on accuracy and completeness of bills processing and codification. Your ability to enhance relationships with vendors and stakeholders across the company will be a key aspect of this role. You will manage and lead an effective accounts payables team with adherence to processes, controls and policies that support key business objectives, aligned with global compliance. What You’ll Do: Invoice/bill processing, review and verify codification of vendor bills to ensure accuracy and compliance during the end-to-end cycle. Expense processing—ensure that employee claims are accurately reviewed and coded for timely payments, in addition to dispute and query management on specific claims. Payment processing—prepare and execute timely payments via various payment methods, using banking platforms and adhering to treasury and cash‑management controls. Reconciliation—ensure that accounts payables sub‑ledgers are reconciled as per accounting controls. Financial support—manage month‑end close controls and procedures in adherence to outlined timelines. Reporting—generate reports using ERP and vendor/employee systems, consolidate and prepare accounts payable reporting packs for business submission. Process improvement—evaluate and optimize accounts payable processes for efficiency and accuracy, utilizing automation intelligence (AI) and related technology. Vendor and stakeholder management—maintain positive relationships, effectively communicate process and control updates, and act as a solution provider to the business. Audits and compliance—prepare and present relevant audit samples and reports to adhere to financial controls and compliance. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience leading an effective accounts payable team within a global organization. Proficiency with accounting principles and internal controls related to accounts payable (experience with multi‑entity, multi‑currency preferred). Ability to manage large volumes of bills, employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions (+2000 vendor bills per month and +2000 credit card transactions preferred). Project‑management skills to prioritize workload and manage complex projects with cross‑functional peers. Experience managing a global travel and entertainment policy and system is beneficial. Knowledge of best‑in‑class accounts payable target setting, goals and techniques to manage a team in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented, organized with experience setting up desktop procedures for accounts payable and finance operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written & verbal; collaborative with internal and external stakeholders. Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and ability to analyze large data sets.
