Reference: PTA Position Title: Ecologist Responsibilities Develop and present solutions, proposals, and implementation plans to clients across services. Plan projects including scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Oversee project implementation using standard project management methodologies, including Gantt charts and report writing. Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide feedback. Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance. Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and addressing needs. Identify opportunities for growth through client interactions. Conduct extended fieldwork as required. Qualifications Postgraduate degree (BSc Hons / MSc) in a relevant field. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant scientific, technical, and report writing experience. Strong species identification skills, especially in fauna and flora. Experience in wetlands/aquatic ecology advantageous. Relevant experience and exposure in the Highveld and adjacent bushveld area advantageous. SACNASP registration or eligibility for registration in Ecological Science. Valid driver’s license.
