Overview JOB DESCRIPTION MUST HAVE FLIGHT ATTENDANT EXPERIENCE This means.... serving people on a aeroplane Office Hours: 08h30 - 17h30 Monday to Friday. Various working hours during flights. Must be on standby Responsibilities Provide information, guidance, and assistance for safety and comfort to passengers on board aircraft. Attend the brief and act on it. Conduct safety checks before the flight. Meet and greet passengers. Ensure the family’s Muslim halaal meals are available and the service offered is five-star. Prepare and serve drinks and meals to passengers. Liaise with in-house pilots on itineraries, planning menus, and purchasing groceries and other items. Ensure inventory items are in order (cutlery & crockery). Stock take of products on the airplane. Ensure all trash is removed from the cabin and seats are in their correct positions before performing a final safety check. Assist passengers in safely disembarking after landing. Client and staff liaison when requested. Assist with administrative tasks at the office where requested. Have a valid passport at all times. Ensure the planes / helicopters are clean before and after each flight. Set and style the interior of the plane / helicopter as approved. Render administrative tasks, such as drafting letters, memos, reports, emails, etc. Liaise with suppliers and clients where required. Itinerary travel planning if requested. Diary management requested. Taking minutes of meetings, assisting staff at the office with admin work when needed, including running errands, etc. Be prepared to travel on short notice, both locally and internationally. The abovementioned duties may be updated and expanded on from time to time. Qualifications Air hostess certification - optional First Aid Course High school graduate Silver tray training (hospitality) Work Experience & Skills Proven experience with contactable references. First class / VIP / Corporate flight experience is highly advantageous. 2 to 5 years of related experience. Drivers License and own vehicle. Valid Passport. Bilingual (English and Afrikaans).
