Paraplanner / Client Services Associate for start January 2025 Centurion Salary: R12 500 R20 000 (dep on experience and qualifications) Our client, a well-established Financial Services Provider Firm, based in Centurion, are looking for a SAIPA Trainee Accountant to start 08 January 2025. Recent graduate with relevant work experience preferred Job Purpose: Seeking a motivated Paraplanner / Client Services Associate to join the team starting on 8 January 2025. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to Financial Advisors and deliver exceptional client service, contributing to the overall success of the firm. This role will also involve administrative duties for an Asset Manager, offering valuable exposure to Category II Fund Managers Requirements: Grade 12 Bachelor's degree or currently studying towards a degree in Financial Planning, Financial Services, or a related field. Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (or currently pursuing) is advantageous RE5 Certification Class of Business training completed. Knowledge of Category II licenses and exposure to Category II fund managers is advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel. Experience with financial planning software such as Xplan, Xtools, Integrated Wealth Planner, Asset Map, work, Commspace, etc Exposure to asset management and Category II fund managers is advantageous. Willingness to accompany Financial Advisors to client meetings Own Transport Duties include, but are not limited to: Technical Support: Provide investment planning support to Financial Advisors, including research and analysis of client portfolios. Prepare and collate client financial reviews and reports for Financial Advisors. Review investment transactions and implement changes as necessary Client Engagement: Prepare minutes of client meetings and maintain accurate records of advice and proposals. Conduct client needs analysis and offer advisory support services. Provide regular reports and updates to clients. Investigate and resolve client queries promptly Administrative Support: Liaise between internal and external investment administration and specialist service departments. Assist with coordination, prioritization, and monitoring of paraplanning work requests. Assist with administrative duties related to short-term insurance, including quotations and claims management. Provide administrative support for asset management activities, including tasks associated with Category II fund managers Compliance and Professional Development: Ensure completion of tasks in line with FSP policies, procedures, and workflows. Maintain and develop professional knowledge to meet current industry, FSP, and legislative requirements.
