Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site position for an English Teacher located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and inspiring educator who can deliver high‑quality English instruction to students in an international school setting. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language and literature lessons that build strong reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills. Candidates should design creative, student‑centered learning experiences, support literacy development, foster a love for reading, and help students communicate confidently in English. The teacher will be expected to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs, integrate modern teaching tools, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English Education, English Language & Literature, Linguistics, TESOL, or a closely related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 6 years of teaching experience in an English/Language Arts role. Strong understanding of literacy development and age‑appropriate English pedagogy. Experience with international curricula preferred (IB MYP/DP, Cambridge, American Common Core, or other inquiry‑based programs). Ability to create engaging lessons that develop reading comprehension, academic writing, speaking, listening, and critical‑thinking skills. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to support diverse learners. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively use educational technology, digital platforms, and modern teaching tools. A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.
