The Opportunity We're looking for our first Senior Consultant – someone who will help shape the future of our growing consultancy. This isn't just another consulting role; you'll be a founding team member with the opportunity to build processes, drive growth, and establish yourself as a key long-term player in a company positioned to transform how SMEs approach automation. You'll work directly with business owners and decision-makers to uncover genuine automation opportunities that deliver real ROI. What You'll Do Client Engagement & Discovery Lead discovery sessions with SME clients to identify automation opportunities Conduct business process analysis and map current workflows Translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits Present solution roadmaps and ROI projections to stakeholders Project Delivery & Implementation Oversee end-to-end project delivery from discovery to deployment Build complex automations using platforms like Zapier, N8N, & similar Design and implement multi-system integrations using APIs and webhooks Configure advanced workflows involving conditional logic, data transformations, and error handling Troubleshoot technical issues and optimise automation performance Conduct client training and knowledge transfer sessions Technical Leadership & Innovation Evaluate and recommend new automation tools and platforms Develop standardized technical approaches and best practices Create technical documentation and solution blueprints Mentor junior team members on implementation techniques Who You Are The Technical Foundation 3+ years of hands-on experience building complex automations using platforms like Zapier, N8N, or similar Proficiency with API integrations, webhooks, and data transformation techniques Experience with database connections, conditional logic, and error handling in automation workflows Strong understanding of common SME software ecosystems and their integration capabilities – Xero, CRM, etc Technical troubleshooting skills and ability to optimise automation performance Knowledge of data security, privacy considerations, and compliance requirements Excellent communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail Nice to haves but not required Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) for advanced automation scenarios Experience with AI tools integration (OpenAI API, Azure AI Services, or similar platforms) What We Offer Professional Growth – Opportunity to become a founding team member of a growing consultancy Direct input into service development, processes, and company direction Exposure to diverse industries and business challenges Clear path for advancement as we scale Flexible Working – Fully remote position with flexible working hours Work-life balance that supports your personal goals Collaborative team culture despite remote setup Competitive Package – Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonuses tied to client success and business growth Professional development budget for courses, certifications, and conferences Long-term equity consideration for the right candidate Ready to Join Us?
