Provide complete care for the children in the employers home and perform all tasks that correlate to the care of the children. To create a safe nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop. A nanny job may include housework duties. Responsibilities Taking care of babies (eg. bathing dressing and feeding them). Taking care of children (eg. cooking cleaning and washing & ironing clothes for them and). Providing educational assistance for children. Implementing daily routines. Doing light housework. Running errands. Qualifications Must be a high school graduate. Further training in child care and development from some registered institution. Proven child care experience with references. First Aid and CPR certification. Safety certification. A valid driving license and a safe driving record. Required Skills Interpersonal skills including exceptional patience and listening skills. Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g. keeping room clean laundry). Providing bathing and dressing assistance. Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to nursing team. Following patient care plan. Communicating with families co-workers and supervisors regarding care. Assisting with transfer and mobility. Required Education Grade 10 upwards.
