To execute the daily data collection, compilation and analysis that powers the contracted analytics services at the core of Vontier's end-to-end mining solutions. The role is the operational backbone of the analytics service delivery: ensuring the data underpinning customer-facing insight is accurate, validated, reconciled on time, and free of unmanaged exceptions.

Mining customers rely on these analytics as a cornerstone of the solutions deployed to them, so the integrity, timeliness and defensibility of the data directly determine service quality and customer trust. The role combines disciplined day-to-day execution with analytical rigour, identifying trends, managing exceptions, and producing reporting that turns raw operational data into reliable, actionable insight.

Responsibilities Data collection and compilation Execute daily collection and compilation of operational data feeding the contracted analytics services. Ensure data completeness, accuracy and consistency across all sources. Manage data intake from multiple systems, sites and customer feeds. Validation and reconciliation Validate data integrity, applying quality checks and controls before analysis and reporting. Complete reconciliations accurately and on time, in line with contractual and service commitments. Identify, investigate and manage exceptions, anomalies and discrepancies to resolution. Escalate unresolved or material issues to the Senior Manager promptly. Analysis and reporting Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and outliers relevant to customer operations and contract performance. Produce accurate, timely analytics outputs and reports for customers and internal stakeholders. Translate data findings into clear, meaningful insight supporting customer decision-making. Support continuous improvement of analytics methods, controls and reporting. Service delivery support Ensure analytics service delivery meets SLA, accuracy and timeliness requirements. Maintain documentation of data processes, controls and reconciliations for audit and compliance. Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack Essential 4+ years in a data analyst, operations analyst or reporting analyst role, ideally in mining, industrial, telematics or data-services contexts. Strong data-handling, validation and reconciliation skills with high attention to accuracy. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (advanced Excel essential; SQL, Power BI or similar advantageous). Ability to identify, investigate and resolve data exceptions and anomalies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into insight. Disciplined, deadline-driven approach to recurring reconciliations and reporting. Clear communication skills for reporting findings to internal and customer stakeholders. Relevant tertiary qualification in data science, statistics, engineering, finance or a related quantitative field. Preferable Understanding of mining operations, fleet, fuel or asset data advantageous. Outcomes and Deliverables Deliverables Daily and periodic data collection, compilation and validation completed to schedule. On-time, accurate reconciliations with documented exception management. Regular analytics outputs, trend reports and insight summaries for customers and internal stakeholders. Exception and anomaly registers with resolution tracking. Maintained data-process and control documentation for audit readiness. Escalation reports on material issues to the Senior Manager.
