SAP ABAP Developer – Blue Pearl HQ We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join our team at Blue Pearl HQ. The role focuses on a technical Unicode conversion of the SAP ECC6 system for a period of 9 months. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language. Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Deploy and support application solutions, focusing on HANA version of ABAP. Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and integration projects. Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization. Create and maintain technical documentation and unit test scripts. Support end-users and resolve technical issues related to SAP custom developments. Adhere to SAP development standards and best practices. Technical Skills 10+ years of hands‑on ABAP development experience, including custom reports, enhancements, and debugging. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving SAP technologies. Knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, Data Modeling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core Data Services, DB Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live model consumption. Requirements SAP ABAP certification. Certified copies of SAP or other relevant certificates. Traceable experience in Unicode conversion and possession of a Back‑End Developer – ABAP Cloud certification. Previous Unicode conversion project experience. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to handle pressure, difficult conversations, and navigate client resistance.
