Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team based in Midrand.

Tasks:

  • Understanding technical requirements of clients in the Vibration monitoring industry.
  • Creating innovative engineering concept solutions to meet client’s needs.
  • Working with other engineers to perform feasibility studies, develop models and specify hardware and equipment.
  • Working with other engineers to improve on existing vibration monitoring processes and designs.
  • Determining and costing of vibration monitoring hardware and labour required for potential projects.
  • Become familiar with client specific vibration monitoring design standards and practices.
  • Reparation and formatting of tender documentation.
  • Obtaining supplier quotations.
  • Build up customer contact & relationships.
  • Additional ad hoc tasks required by management.

Your skills:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Engineering
  • High degree in Computer Literacy in MS Office, MS Projects
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales and vibration monitoring advantageous
  • Project Management
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal communications, and documentation skills
  • High degree in Computer Literacy in MS Office, MS Projects
  • In depth deliberation skills with experienced customers
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Work as an individual and part of a team
  • Driver’s license essential
