Red Bull Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Creator Manager The Creator Manager is responsible for creator marketing within the South African landscape, integrating a global strategy into a local market, localising and setting up the framework, along with elevated ideation as well as the day-to-day operational execution of the plan across departments and functions. They will work closely with internal stakeholders both locally and globally to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to the global framework. Additionally, the role will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert in the topic across the entire business. The Creator Manager will oversee relationship management, campaign generation, talent selection, internal strategy communication, and program reporting. Responsibilities Create and own a strategic framework within the business and department, developing strategic direction for Creator Marketing utilising the global framework and adapting to local business objectives. Work cross‑functionally to determine strategies across the calendar year and opportunities by project and function to help achieve business objectives, ensuring clear objectives identified and ROI goals. Define goals and holistic assessment guidelines, align them to business goals, and ensure stakeholders understand and buy into these approaches. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, multi‑disciplinary creators, and global functions to assess current workflows and develop appropriate strategies and structures. Collaborate with international stakeholders to encourage learning exchange, share best practices, and provide an understanding of the South African landscape within the context of local creators. Identify and develop relationships with opinion leaders to build brand and product trust. Represent the brand authentically and build genuine connections with creators. Support all business areas (Sports, Culture, Brand, On Premise and Field) to amplify existing marketing initiatives. Create and present best practices in the Creator space to inspire and educate. Maintain the database and ensure POPI compliance. Refine management & reporting tools, monitor approaches for all creators, share learnings, and coach team members. Actively report and present successes to stakeholders, focusing on product trust and ROI. Manage budgets, develop commercial business cases, lead onboarding and training around Creator Marketing. Qualifications & Expertise University Degree. 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, talent management, and/or social media, with a clear focus on the creator/influencer industry. Strong planning and project management competencies. Passionate about the Influencer/Creator space and experienced in working with/managing talent. Understanding of social trends and platforms and consumer habits. Basic knowledge of creator platforms – TikTok, Instagram, YouTube. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate cross‑functional collaborations. Creative mind paired with an entrepreneurial “can‑do” attitude focusing on solutions. Strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications. Lives and represents the Red Bull brand traits.
