About the job QuickBooks Bookkeeper About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QuickBooks Bookkeeper to join our accounting and auditing firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) , Accounts Payable (AP) , and cash flow operations using QuickBooks Online . This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to financial management, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks Online accounts daily. Manage Accounts Receivable invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up. Oversee Accounts Payable vendor management, bill processing, and timely payments. Serve as the firm's Cash Manager , ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of cash flow. Prepare and review bank reconciliations , financial statements , and management reports . Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist with audit preparations and provide accurate supporting documentation. Identify process improvements and ensure adherence to company accounting policies. Collaborate with management and clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights. Qualifications Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Cash Manager within an accounting or auditing firm. Proficient in QuickBooks Online (minimum 2+ years). Strong knowledge of AR/AP management , cash flow tracking , and reconciliation . High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently under U.S. business hours. Managerial or supervisory experience is a plus . Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite . Preferred Skills Experience working with U.S.-based clients or firms. Understanding of GAAP principles and accounting best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
