Job Details Job Req ID: 10535Closing Date: 19 November 2025ODE: FIN: Finance Southern AfricaGeographical Area: Sasolburg, Free State & Sandton, Gauteng Purpose of the Job Manage and provide a comprehensive accounting service to facilitate decision making related to business direction. Supervise day‑to‑day financial activities and ensure sound financial management and reporting practices, including those related to capital projects and fixed assets. Key Accountabilities Ensure compliance with company fixed asset and capital project accounting policies and standards. Maintain the integrity of the GL asset/capital project accounts and ledger structure. Conduct asset/capital project impairment reviews, calculations, and accounting implications. Capture all new assets in the fixed asset and tax registers. Account for movement of fixed assets, including transfers and disposals. Coordinate physical asset verification for all company assets in line with policy. Run system calculations for asset depreciation. Collaborate with Group Tax on tax treatment of assets. Establish, track and close capital projects. Prepare fixed asset records and process relevant journal entries. Perform fixed asset and GL reconciliations. Prepare and authorize postings in the ledger. Reconcile fixed asset register to the general ledger monthly. Implement internal and SOX controls around fixed asset management and reporting. Prepare lead sheets for OneStream input. Interact with internal and external auditors during statutory audits. Assist with compiling the budget balance sheet on fixed assets in OneStream. Provide accurate capital‑related forecasting and budget information. Evaluate key financial performance indicators against historical trends. Validate reports for completeness, relevance and accuracy. Manage and prepare month‑end reporting in SAP. Provide financial information for reporting to the Board and Governance Committee, if applicable. Ensure proper capital expenditure evaluation, control and reporting. Prepare data for RCP (Rolling Capital Plan) in line with Group guidelines. Maintain management system reporting requirements. Identify customer needs and assess system capabilities to improve reporting. Maintain a high‑performance culture. Formal Education Completed Bachelor’s Degree or BTech in a finance‑related field. Working Experience 6+ relevant years. Certification and Professional Membership CA(SA) will be advantageous.
