About the Role You'll be stepping into a senior architecture role with end-to-end oversight of front-end design and implementation, helping shape the tech stack and development standards for a client-facing digital platform. This role requires a tech-savvy leader who can work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance front-end systems. You’ll be part of a collaborative consulting environment that blends innovation with execution. Key Responsibilities Design and own the front-end architecture for a major Gambling & Betting project Provide technical leadership across React, Angular, and Node.js implementations Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment Advocate for performance, scalability, and maintainability in all front-end decisions Mentor developers and contribute to technical best practices What You’ll Bring 10+ years of front-end development and architecture experience Expertise in React and Angular frameworks Solid knowledge of Node.js and its role in front-end ecosystems Strong understanding of design patterns, state management, and CI/CD practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within hybrid teams Nice to Have Familiarity with other modern JavaScript frameworks or mobile-first design principles Experience in the Gambling & Betting industry Knowledge of containerisation or cloud-native architectures What’s On Offer Opportunity to lead architecture on a high-visibility project Hybrid working model with a preference for Cape Town-based candidates A contract role with strong potential for impact and further engagement Join a trusted consultancy environment that values innovation and autonomy Company Culture Our client is more than a consultancy - they’re a global community of innovators, craftsmen, and change-makers.
