Product Specialist Senior Passenger Vehicles POS25195 Based: Meadowdale Salary: R20 000 R25 000 pm To act as the product knowledge expert and brand ambassador for the passenger vehicle range. The Product Specialist supports the dealership or sales network by providing deep product expertise, training, and customer engagement. This role ensures consistent product messaging, competitive positioning, and enhances the overall sales experience. Minimum Requirements : Matric / Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Management (advantage) 5 years + of experience in a dealership environment, sales support, or automotive training role Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong product knowledge and a passion for continued learning Understanding of current vehicle technologies and customer buying behaviour Ability to translate technical features into customer-friendly language Confident, professional, and customer-centric Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Valid drivers license Willingness to travel for dealer support and events Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Provide detailed product knowledge to the sales team, ensuring they are up to date with specifications, technology, and features. Conduct internal and dealer training sessions on new and existing vehicle models. Assist in the launch of new passenger vehicles through market insights, competitor comparisons, and demo support. Deliver engaging product demonstrations to customers and prospects. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align messaging and positioning of passenger vehicles. Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to provide feedback for strategy updates. Create and maintain product comparison guides, specification sheets, and training materials. Support showroom displays and ensure proper representation of the vehicle line-up. Collaborate with OEM representatives to stay aligned with brand direction, updates, and standards.
