Duties

• Performs all duties as escort of controlled material/pouches to and from airport or other locations as directed.
• The position is part-time; some after-hours, weekend and holiday work may be required.
• This position is supervised by the Pretoria Regional Diplomatic Courier Hub (PRDCH) Supervisor. Incumbent must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a TOP SECRET security clearance, and in possession of a diplomatic passport for courier escort duties.
• The primary place of work is the classified pouch vault of the U.S. Embassy in Pretoria.
• The incumbent possesses specialized expertise in the demanding field of classified logistics.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a:

TOP SECRET security clearance. 

• Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (12 weeks) upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Education Requirements:

• Completion of secondary (high school) is required.
