Medipost Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a Qualified Post Basic Assistant Stock Returns for its Production business in Gezina, Pretoria. The position reports to the Stock Returns Manager. Responsibilities: Daily processing of returned parcels on Medipost App: Parcels have to be finalised according to SOP within 3 days with daily requesting and following up on manual reversals and claim rejections and all filing done correctly. Reconciliation of stock audit trail for the credited stock of the previous day: Done every morning to ensure that there are no discrepancies between the stock items that were credited and what will be transferred to Loc 7. Managing internal and external telephone and e-mail queries regarding returned parcels: Resolving queries within 24-hour turnaround time with all relevant information noted on the Action Diary. Status R/9 Report: Investigate why the parcel returned to determine what the next production date should be. Checking fridge line parcels for Cold chain maintenance: Checking if the cold chain was maintained and writing a report. Ensuring that all fridge items are processed and the items for destruction are removed from the fridge and taken to the quarantine area. Stock transfers: Transfer the reversed stock from the previous day’s online and manual reversals to Location 7 (Production); finalising the master list; requesting Stock department to do all relevant up- and down adjustments. Managing the stock master list: Ensuring that everything that needs to be transferred, up- or down adjusted was completed, all discrepancies on the stock file resolved and the stock file balances. QA of incident on the SR incident log: The assistants are to QA each other’s incident on the SR Incident log and highlighting it to indicate to the designated staff member that it may be transferred to the appropriate cluster log. Training for SOP: Providing continuous SOP training for Funded staff. Managing SLA: Distributing / allocating parcels to be processed to the assistants. Monitoring and completion of parcels making use of the No Code report in order to comply with the 3-day SLA. Providing the assistants (GEZ & CT) with the SLA tracker report to inform of progress. PPE procurement: Order the Oncology PPE (gloves, gowns, masks etc.). ESS training for new employees: Provide new staff members with ESS training. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Life/Physical Sciences. SAPC Registration as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant. Medipost App Training - Advantageous. Skills: Accurate. Organised and tidy. Sense of urgency. Able to work under pressure. Must be able to apply the SOPs specific to the position. Decision making with ability to support the decisions that were made. Follow company policies and procedures.
